While some classically-trained voice teachers will not work with young children, I believe it is never too early to encourage a love of music and the ability to use your singing voice.

Through methods based on play, children will strengthen their musical ear, gain confidence, and best prepare their vocal instrument for the voice changes that occur as they age into puberty.

Whether you are experiencing puberty for the first time or the second, navigating the voice during this time can feel like utter chaos. At this stage, we will use carefully crafted exercises and repertoire that best suits your voice to create a sound that is reliable and consistent. Through this exploration, you will gain confidence and be ready to conquer the musical world as your voice stabilizes.

Just when you were starting to really feel at home with your voice, the hormones all begin to shift and things feel - to use the technical term - wonky. I can help you navigate through this change with exercises to ease the breaks, guidance on vocal health, and compassion for the musician that you are.
